The current price offered by Fish On Set Hook Guide Service is for the 2026 season

Half Day Experience:  Pontoon boat guide trip

4 hours - morning trip

1-2 people trout fishing---- 400.00

Full Day Experience:  Pontoon boat guide trip 

7 hours

1-2 people trout fishing---- 625.00

Extra person charge 17 years old and under --------- 30.00

Extra person charge 18 years and over ----------- 50.00

Accepted forms of Payment: Cash, Venmo, Cash App and Credit Card.

Total Max number allowed on pontoon boat guide trip is six people plus the guide.

Your group will be the only people on the guide trip. We do not double book our pontoon guide boats.

All Half Day morning guide trips start at 6am, 7am or 8am you can pick your start time.

All Full Day guide trips start at 6am or 7am.

Full Day Guide trips are not available from June 1st to September 1st due to the high afternoon temperatures along with the stress it puts on the Trout being released back into the river.

Credit Card is required at the time your reservation is made to hold the confirmed dates of your trout fishing guide trip. Credit cards will not be charged until the day before your trout fishing guide trip reservation date. If you prefer to pay with cash let us know at the time your reservation is made or the day before your guide trip starts.

Things you may want to bring:

Cooler for your specialty drinks, snacks, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, jacket, raincoat.

Guide trips include: 

A reasonable amount of Terminal Tackle, Spinning Rods and Reels, Life Vest and bottled water will be provided on all guide trips.

Arkansas 2026 New daily Trout limit: 

2 Trout per person if you are keeping fresh Trout to enjoy with family and friends.

All guide trips will end when you have kept your 2 Trout per person limit. Or you may catch and release and fish until your guide trip time expires if you haven't kept your 2 fish per person limit.

Fish Cleaning Rates. 2.50 per fish 

To have your trout filleted for the grill or frying. We also can gut and gill your trout for grilling, baking or smoking.

Bags are provided free of charge for your cleaned trout. Then you can put them in your cooler with ice to experience a fresh meal of Little Red River trout with family and friends. If you prefer to clean your fish yourself, we do provide plastic bags for you to take your trout home to clean at your leisure. 

Guide trips do not include:

Arkansas fishing license or trout permit. If you are 16 or older, an Arkansas fishing license and trout permit is required. You may purchase your Arkansas fishing license and trout permit online.

Resident Trout Permit: TPR - 10.00

Non-Resident Fishing 

1 day: NT1 - 15.00   

3 Day: NT3 - 30.00   

1 year: NRF- 60.00

TPN - 20.00 

Lunch is not provided on full day guide trips. You can enjoy your lunch that you have brought with you on the boat or boat dock if you prefer.

All cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of your guide trip. their is a 200.00 no call or no-show fee that you will be charged.

All cancellations made by Fish On Set Hook Guide Service due to severe weather conditions before the start time of the day your guide trip begins will be refunded.   

We all have things that are out of our control and if it is after the 72 hour policy and you book a trout fishing guide trip for another date. You will not be charged the 200.00 booking fee for the missed guide trip.

Gratuity:  Is not included in the price of the guide trips and is very much appreciated.
